Public Awareness on Animals Cruelty

Recently we were shocked with the news of animals cruelty in Malaysia. About the dog who cracked his skull beaten by angry motorcyclist, a stray cat klilled in the dobby and a dog who dragged behind a truck. It is unbearable to think what been through by these pitiful animlas, its so sad. We feel very angry toward the crime, how come they do that. But lucky, all the 3 cases get attention wheres all the prepratators criminals was caught. All was thank to the caring natizen who make report about the crime. So abuser, beware.

ORANG ramai mengusung jenazah Abdul Bari untuk dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung Merbau Patah. FOTO Ghazali Kori


WALAUPUN saling tidak mengenali, orang ramai yang bersimpati dan kagum dengan sifat terpuji serta keberanian Abdul Bari Asyraf Mohd, 31, tidak mahu melepaskan peluang mengikuti majlis pengebumian Allahyarham dan memberi penghormatan terakhir.

Kehadiran lebih 500 ahli keluarga, saudara mara, rakan dan orang awam dalam keadaan cuaca panas terik itu membuktikan mereka mahu menjadi sebahagian yang mengiringi pemergian wira yang dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung Merbau Patah, Kuala Terengganu, hari ini.

Malah, suasana sedih melihat raut wajah insan kesayangan Abdul Bari yang kehilangan anak tersayang turut meruntun hati orang ramai yang berada di tanah perkuburan itu.

Dalam suasana pilu itu, jenazah Abdul Bari selamat dikebumikan jam 2.15 petang di tanah perkuburan itu.

Ibu bapa Allahyarham, Mohd Mustafa, 66, dan Masitah Awang, 60, dilihat sugul tetapi tenang menyaksikan upacara pengebumian.

Turut hadir memberi penghormatan terakhir ialah pegawai dan anggota Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) serta Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat (JBPM) negeri, termasuk Ketua Polis Negeri, Datuk Aidi Ismail dan Pengarah JBPM negeri, Azlimin Mat Noor.

Terdahulu, jenazah Abdul Bari Asyraf dibawa ke Masjid Kampung Merbau Patah bagi menyempurnakan solat jenazah selepas jemaah menunaikan solat Zohor kira-kira jam 1.45 tengah hari.

Abdul Bari ditemui lemas jam 7.23 pagi tadi di muka kuala Sungai Terengganu, kira-kira 2.5 kilometer daripada lokasi dia dilaporkan hilang selepas membantu menyelamatkan lima beranak dalam insiden pacuan empat roda Mitsubishi Storm terjunam ke sungai berkenaan, malam kelmarin.

This is Cristopher Felix. He's a 19-year-old aspiring college student from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota — and the happy hero at the center of this heartwarming animal rescue story.

Recently, Felix was out for a drive near his home when a squirrel darted out into the street in front of him — disappearing beneath his vehicle. Afterward, the squirrel was left lying lifelessly in the road.

Rather than continue on his way, Felix decided to stop and see if the squirrel could be saved.

"I felt pretty bad for what happened," Felix told The Dodo. "All I was thinking about was just to try to help the squirrel out, because I just thought that would have been the best thing. The poor squirrel wasn't able to move, so I pick it up with my glove, set it on the grass and started to do chest compressions."

Felix was about 10 minutes into this process when he attracted the attention of local police, who stopped to question him. One of the officers' body cameras captured what happened next:

Felix had saved the squirrel — and everyone present couldn't have been more thrilled.

The life of one squirrel might not matter much to some folks — but it matters to Felix.

"I was very happy to help out something so little. It's a life that is saved," he said. "I'm glad I was there to help it that day. I was super happy to help it and so were the police that saw it with me."

The Korean couple, Kang Won Rae and Kim Song, had come to consider their beloved dog, Doldol, to be their only child, but not by choice.

This was because doctors had informed them that they were unable to reproduce.

Although they had accepted their misfortune and decided to be content with their devoted doggy, Doldol was sadly diagnosed with late-stage lymphoblastic leukemia in 2011…

Upon receiving the bad news, the couple immediately set out to make a bucket list for Doldol.

Their plan was to spend as much time as they could with their baby before her short time was up.

For a dancer, having to sit idle in a wheelchair is extremely tough, but life can be quite unfair. Furthermore, Kim Song was constantly coping with infertility issues.

This enduring couple spent ten years of trying almost everything to have a child, including artificial insemination, but they had no success.
