Because of the corona virus pandemic (spread fast widely and uncontrollabe) status, all over the world become panic seeing the infected and death toll increasing day by day. More country enforcing lockdown act to control the spread. In Malaysia we are first time to face the Movement Control Order after toll of infected cases exceeding 500. And it become worst as of today reported there are more than 600 peoples infected with 2 succumbed because of this virus. Condolence to the family and hopes we all Malaysian doing our part to control the spread of this virus.
Lots of thanks towrds the KKM as the front liners facing this outbreak. They indeed are brave hero to risk their own safety for the society. May Allah bless them. Thus lets give our cooperation to reduce their burden. Lets exclude us being a petient.

Some info and advice in taking care of ourself during this outbreaks:
▶️ Corona virus is a virus that can cause a flu like symptom but more severe and it may cause death especially to the eldary and immonu-incompetent person.

▶️ Compare to SARS with death rate of 11%, Covid-19 death rete is lower which is about 3%. But the spreading of covid-19 is much faster and wide that currently it almost reach 200000 of confirm cases and 8000 death toll all over the world. This saying that it is serious and we must really take precaution.
The structure of corona virus
▶️ The virus able to survive within 4 hours to 4 days in environment. Thus self hygine is curcial to avoid consuming the virus.
✔ As possible avoid touching the unnecessarry such as the rail, walls, table and all things that not necessary.
✔ As possible avoid touching face especially before hands cleaning. Mouth, eyes and nose is opening where virus can enter the body.

✔ Washing hands is the most effective in celansing hands. But if water is not available hand sanitaizer can be use as necessary. However requent washing and sanitizing may cause dry skin which allowing entry of virus via skin crack. The right way is to also moisturize skin everytime after clenasing. I opted to use food grade olive oil to moisturize skin as it is natural, without synthetic and cheaper.

✔ If necessary to touch things. Wear glove (made from cotton is a good choice) to reduce contamintaion on hands. Wash and reuse the glove if possible.
✔ In general pathogent (microbes that cause deasease) can destroy by heat and sunlight. Thus exposing room with sunlight during the day is a good way to disinfect house naturally.
Sunlight is the natural way to disinfect room, cloth or personal belonging. But not human as over exposere to sun might cause skin cancer.
✔ Distance yourself about 2 meters away from others.
✔ Use mask when you are sick or in pack of peoples. Wearing mask can reduce the distance of the virus travel when sneezing and caughing. However mask is not necessarry for healthy person as to spare for the sick and health personel. Use handkerchief if mask is not available. And reusable mask that can be wash is a good option.

✔ Take bath and change cloth immediately after reaching home. Never touch family nor staying around before you clean yourself by bathing.
❌ Avoid mass gathering as it is increasing chances of spreading or get infected by the virus. Mass gathering also making difficult for authority to trace and controll the spread. Dont be selfish for all's safety.
❌ Decline hand shake kindly. Body contact risking possible of virus transmission.

❌ 2 weeks special leave is not for holiday by travel to hometown. It is worse if the house with not enough room and packed with families. It is quite dangerous as we might be the source that spread the virus to our family. Dont take it lightly as we may harm our own family.
Senior citizen and immun-incompetent person is at high risk of being infected and the harm is severe to them. As possible avoid meeting them unnecessarrily as we might transfer the virus to them. They are the one that we should respect and cared in the appropriate way.
❌ Avoid going to hospital unnecessarrily. Hospital is the palce with full of germs. Follow instruction by the authority of where to get treatment if simptom of Covid-19 showing up.

❌ With social distancing objective avoid bringing family to market. Only representative from each family should handle and fulfil what needed. Recommanded to bought enough for a week. This isn't the time to go market every morning looking for fresh fish and vagetable. Eggs, frozen meat, cabbage, appple, orrange, fish and any long lasting product is recommanded.
Hopes we doing our parts to help control the spread. Lets us be a responsible citizen for our own safety. Hopes the authority can handle this situation by giving right measures on the ongoing breakout. May Allah forgive and bless us.
